COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Following CDC guidelines:
- In-home massages – Clients will be required to provide:
- 2 clean flat sheets
- 1 pillow case
- 1 bath towel
- Your therapist will use these items to cover the massage table and face cradle. If you have pets, you may wish to put them in another room prior to the arrival of your therapist. For the massage table, we require a clear area (about 10’x10’) with a nearby electrical outlet for the heating pad.
- We currently requiring you to provide your own linens due to safety precautions.
- Your therapist, as always, washes their hands before and after each and every client session. All massage equipment is thoroughly sanitized and disinfected, including areas that are frequently touch by a client and therapist.
- Your therapist, using a touch-less thermometer, will take the client’s temperature prior to each session. Temperature readings higher than 100.30F will be re-tested to confirm. If the reading is still high, the massage session will be canceled and rescheduled.
- Clients are required to wash their hands or apply hand sanitizer before their session.
- Client and therapist must wear mask at all times. Therapist may wear both face shield and mask.
- Client may temporarily remove the mask when face down (prone). A pillow cover will be inserted into the face cradle creating a large pocket to capture any airborne particles so you can breathe comfortably.
- When lying on your back (supine), you will be required to wear your mask at all times.
- Social distancing must be observed unless during a treatment where in-session protocols have been implemented.
- If on the day of your appointment you feel like you are coming down with something and unsure whether or not you are sick, please let us know ASAP and call to cancel. Be assured that if your therapist felt the same as stated above, clients will be notified via email, text, and/or phone call and all appointment will be canceled until it is safe to resume.
“Your safety and overall wellbeing as well as the therapist are our top priority. Thank you for following all the necessary precautions.”
